LedgerFast.ai respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account information — name, business name, email address.
- Financial documents — bank statements, receipts, invoices, and other files you upload.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- Usage data — anonymous analytics about how the Service is used to improve it.
How we use it
We use your data solely to deliver the Service: generating reports, surfacing anomalies, and providing diagnostics. AI processing is performed via the Anthropic Claude API; inputs are not retained by the model provider beyond the session and are not used for training.
Tax Organizer Data
When you use the Tax Organizer feature, your transaction data is processed to map expense categories to IRS Schedule C line items. This processing is performed via the Anthropic Claude API. Inputs are not retained by the model provider beyond the session and are not used for model training.
Tax Organizer outputs — Schedule C summaries, 1099 tracking data, and quarterly estimates — are stored in your private account and subject to the same encryption and access controls as all other LedgerFast data. This data is never shared with tax authorities, third parties, or advertisers.
How we protect it
Files are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Storage uses row-level security so only you (and your authorized teammates) can access your data. Backups are encrypted.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, license, or share your financial data with advertisers, brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes.
Sub-processors
We rely on: Stripe (payment processing, billing, and tax calculation), Anthropic (AI inference), Cloudflare (hosting/CDN), and Supabase (database/storage).
AI Processing and Data Minimization
LedgerFast uses Claude AI (Anthropic) to categorize transactions, detect anomalies, and generate financial summaries. We follow data minimization principles — only the transaction data necessary for the specific analysis is sent to the AI model.
Anthropic does not retain your financial data beyond the processing session. Your data is not used to train AI models.

Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. For eligible transactions, Stripe handles tax calculation, collection, and remittance on our behalf. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for how your payment data is handled.
Your rights
You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@ledgerfastai.com. Deletion takes effect within 30 days.
Bookkeeper and Agency Access
If a bookkeeper, accountant, or financial professional accesses your LedgerFast account on your behalf, they do so under your authorization. LedgerFast is not responsible for how authorized third parties use or handle your data outside of our platform.
If you are a bookkeeper managing multiple client accounts through LedgerFast, you are responsible for ensuring each client has consented to their data being processed through our platform and for maintaining appropriate client data agreements.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- The right to know what personal information we collect
- The right to delete your personal information
- The right to opt out of the sale of your information (Note: We do not sell your information)
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights
